IP65 – Dust Tight & Water Jet Protected
The “6” means completely dust tight. No dust gets in, period.
The “5” means it can handle water sprayed from a hose. During testing, water is blasted at the fixture from all directions using a 6.3mm nozzle at about 3 gallons per minute for at least 3 minutes.
